It seems the world stopped for a moment…
There are many theories, why the virus happened.
In my opinion, we are co-creators, we create our environment and we create events, if aware or not. It’s called human collective awareness. Nature reacts, sometimes very harsh, to stop us, to remind us, to warn us, to give us another opportunity.
This is cruel and we feel helpless, overwhelmed, and irritated. But its a unique opportunity as well. It’s a time when we can reset everything in our lives. We can figure out, what is important and necessary and what isn’t.
I think that we can’t go back the way it was before. Because the time “before” wasn’t good. We got used to cruelty, hypocrisy, egotism, unfairness, exploitation,…We called it normal. But this is not in balance with nature. We can’t go back to the same thinking, habits, and lifestyle. Something must change.
We have to stop looking for the guilty guy. Stop pointing fingers at someone else. Don’t give your power away, we have to take full responsibility. We can change and we have the power to do so.
There is no neutral statement. When we hear a lie and we say nothing, we are supporting the lie. When we have no opinion, that’s an opinion, too, because, we give away our power to the opinion maker. People often don’t want to get involved, but the boomerang comes back. They don’t see the bigger picture, what consequences does the non-involvement have. It’s not only that we give our power away, but we are also establishing those standards for the future.
This is why moral values are so important. It’s important, what we teach our new generation. But we don’t teach with words only, most of all we teach with our actions and behavior. Kids are not stupid. Our youngest are experts and can easily differentiate if we live what we preach. Ignoring that would teach them hypocrisy in the most intimate surroundings.
The school is the next most influential and therefore responsible place for our future generation according to how much time they spend there. What values do we teach them? What is missing and want is not so important? Do they have the opportunity to grow into happy, responsible upright people? Can they discover their fullest potentials? Are they really prepared for life? Do we teach them, how to discuss, to listen, to share our opinion without forcing it to others?
Back to us. We as consumers decide, what industry we support. It’s in our daily decision. What do we cause to nature with all that garbage? Do we really need that much? I recognize myself, how little I need, and still have everything. I really would appreciate more healthy, high quality, and super environmentally friendly products. Why does shopping make us temporarily so happy? Whose interest is it to make us so addictive? No one should work as a modern slave in the fashion industry! We should consume less meat, it’s not healthy. We should take full responsibility for our preventive health.
This is now it! Obviously, we have time enough to think about it. It’s in our hands in our power to turn this around. I’m confident, that many won’t get this, it would be a fairy tale. And don’t blame them, because they don’t know, what they are doing. Don’t fight with them. Understand that, that’s what they been thought all their lives. We need a critical mass. It won’t happen overnight. So, look at it as an amazing opportunity, educate yourself, be curious. The only person we can change is us. But then this will have an effect on others and our spirit will shine miles away.
Love & Peace
